Role Type: Initial 12- 18 Month Contract

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – Min 3 days in-office)

Excellent Daily Rate.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Quality Manager for a high-profile, tech-enabled transformation. This role acts as a critical bridge between technical delivery streams and executive leadership. You will be responsible for translating complex data analysis into strategic insights for senior stakeholders, ensuring a "one best way" approach to our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Migration Leadership: Lead hands-on data quality activities, profiling, and validation specifically for large-scale migration milestones.

  • Technical Analysis: Utilize SQL to interrogate large datasets, grabbing raw analysis and shaping it into professional presentations for high-level decision-making.

  • Executive Interfacing: Act as a primary point of contact for GMs and GEs, presenting data findings and influencing remediation pathways.

  • Strategic Coordination: Bridge the gap between technical teams and senior stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and issues are clearly articulated.

  • Autonomous Delivery: Operate with high autonomy to maintain momentum, manage dependencies, and ensure evidence is produced in line with governance standards.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6–8 years of experience in a Data Management or Data Quality Managerial role.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with complex datasets.

  • Migration Expertise: Proven track record in large-scale data migration programs within financial services or regulated environments.

  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience talking to and influencing Senior Executives (GMs/GEs).

  • Problem Solving: A self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous delivery environments.

  • On-site Collaboration: Ability to work from the Sydney office 3-4 days per week for essential face-to-face workshops and team interaction.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a structured and collaborative leader who can "turn intent into execution". You excel at taking deep technical data and framing it in a way that resonates at the Board and General Manager level.
